Description
This large, ornate Oriental style secretary desk is truly stunning! It is black with gold paintings on the outside, and the inside is red and gold with many pigeonholes and small drawers of varying sizes. There are 45 cubby holes or little drawers and 2 pull out candle shelves. The lower part of the desk contains 6 drawers of different sizes. The writing part of the desk folds down, and two supports automatically slide out to support the desk top.
The desk is not an antique, but it is beautiful and elegant and offers tons of storage space. The top does come off for moving, but it is a heavy piece, probably in the 300 pound range.
Size: About 81″ tall, 20″ deep, and 36.5″ wide.
Condition: Good used condition with a couple of minor flaws. One small knob is missing on one of the candle shelves. There’s a place on one side where it looks like there was a little damage that been repaired. (See pictures for details.)
