Gray Floral Painting by Lee Reynolds

$500.00

This lovely, large gray floral painting is by “Lee Reynolds”, which was a pseudonym used by artists working for Vanguard Studios in the 1960s-1970s.

This lovely, large gray floral painting is by “Lee Reynolds.”  Lee Reynolds Burr was an artist who was born in 1936. In 1964, Lee Reynolds Burr created Vanguard Studios with the goal of providing art that ordinary people could afford. However, pictures signed “Lee Reynolds” are not necessarily by Lee Reynolds Burr. Just as large literary syndicates produce book series by a variety of ghostwriters under a pen name, Vanguard Studios used the name “Lee Reynolds” for the artists it employed in the 1960s and 1970s. Vanguard artists painted in a variety of styles, painted by numerous artists, and they created duplicate paintings.

Size: 60” wide x 48” tall.
