This set of 4 vintage Frank Rieder ice cream chairs is a real find for antique collectors! These ice cream parlor chairs, patented in 1920 by “Seatmore”, Frank Rieder & Sons out of Philadelphia, PA, have a unique design with triangular seats and triangle lower cross stretchers. These chairs were specifically designed to allow for more seating in mom-and-pop drug stores and soda shops in the 1920s. Two of the chairs in this set have the original label on the back, but the other two do not.
Size: Each chair is approximately 30″ x 16” x 13″ with a seat height of 17 1/2″.
Condition: Good used condition. They show signs of wear, but the construction is solid, and they don’t wobble.
